I hope you didn't come up with that analogy on your own. It is seriously disturbing, as well as apparently nonsensical.
Why whould putting turpentine on cat's ass cause it to run away quickly? Turpentine does not cause painful burning on immediate contact. Or is it just getting wet that causes the cat to run away? If so, wouldn't it be more economical to use water? And isn't it dogs that stick their tails between their legs as opposed to cats? I'm not saying a cat might not do that, I've seen cats do some f'd up stuff in my time, but never that. And I don't think it's something they're known for. And wouldn't a cat run away with it's tail UP if you poured turpentine on it? I mean, if it was down - might get some more turpentine on it right? I don't think the cat would go for that.
