By Sunday night, when it is down to the Final Four, there will be only eight possible scenarios going forward so we'll really know what to expect then.

For now, the points yet to be awarded will be so "lumpy" (you get 16 pt for picking national champ, and likewise lose a whale of potential points when your champ is eliminated) that the best way for someone to assess his/her individual chances is to check out who else has picked the same champ as you & work backwards from there... you know you will probably need your champ to win to win the pool...

Plus there are four prizes + last place prize, so there could be some weird permutations.
