That is what I am thinking on DELL also - too much optimism going in to the report, and I see little likelihood that they can overwhelm expectations. Pretty much the reverse of what I feared about AMAT, where I felt some downside was already baked in, but AMAT did not disappoint me, and was worse than almost everyone expected. Almost, but not quite everyone <gg>.
Unless DELL can do something unexpected above optimistic street expectations, I would look for a sell on the news reaction. Overall, their sector is dead and HPQ is claiming some gains, so it is hard to see a huge upside surprise.
