if you read what I posted earlier about the Mali mineral legislation, It clearly says if you find gold you must create a Malian company to gain a mining permit which the governmant takes a 10 % take in the company, so this news to me is bigger than it states in my opinion. in other words they do have gold and now they can obtain the permits to mine it.BOOM
St. Watson Mining Company, Ltd has secured 24 quality mining concessions. These areas are located within the Levuma and Punduru Chiefdom's. There prolific diamond fields within those concession and are the primary focus of St. Watson's operations. We are scheduled, in mid-April 2010 to deploy geology teams to the sites.
Work Accomplished:
· Company Office has been set-up in Freetown
· Legal registration of St. Watson Mining Company, LTD is completed
· Acquired diamond mining license and export license
· Relationship have been secured with the Minister of Mines located in capital city of Freetown, as well, as the Regional Ministry of Mines within the Kenema and Kono Districts
· We have secured several concession with and through the Paramount Chief and her associated Chiefdoms
· The boundaries of the Levuma and Punduru concession's have been surveyed & GPS'd
· St. Watson has leased a compound in the Kono area for its living quarters and operations
