Thin Client Server Side Processing

Our company is definitely taking steps in this direction, unfortunately company IT standards ensure that these server upgrades will be Xeon based rather than Opteron based. Although, I'm responsible for upgrading/administering the Citrix servers at our location, I have no hardware platform input. Our company IT standards are primarily based on historical momentum and the number/appeal of commercials viewed by our managers on the "boob tube". As such, these standards are unlikely to change in the future.
