The NSE letter has nothing to do with the technology being unproven. The technology is "unproven" because.... it has not been proven. There is no "evidence" the DViS produces 3D images in real-time. No one has ever seen the machine and stated it works to the public.
You might sit there and say "there is no evidence that it doesn't!" which is true. However, the "proof" that it works needs to be confirmed before the "proof" that it doesn't work needs to be confirmed.
