For the most pathetic Kool-Aid drinkers from a psychology viewpoint, one should Google "Omega Trust and Trading." That was a prime bank- type fraud from the late 1990's. The master of the fraud has been a guest of federal authorities for years, but the true believers still are waiting for their gigantic checks to come. Hood allegedly targeted Evangelical church congregations, essentially turning their faith against them.

For the most whacked-out financial Kool-Aid, Google "NESARA." That is a strange financial cult with New Age overtones, or a New Age Cult with financial overtones. Sure, I would like to believe that the government is about to cancel my mortgage and give me my house free and clear- we all do. However, the bit about George Bush (the younger) being a shape-shifting alien is a little too far. I will admit to profoundly disliking the man as a President, but I also found his flaws to be all too human and not part of an alien conspiracy.
