You could be right. I personally know NOTHING about it. However, I don't see any other way to read what they are saying.

I suppose this could be interpreted as still growing, but just not growing anywhere near the rate it was before. And, if that is what you are saying, then it could still imply that more raw materials could be needed even though growth is "slowing".

I'm now curious enough that if/when you see Y/Y changes in automobile sales for 03 vs 04 in PRC, I would like to see them.
