Ei is just manufacturing these KISS caskets and they didn't design them. Hey KISS is the custormer and if this is what they ordered then that is what they should get. I don't think that they were trying to make these look like the Sistine Chapel or anything like that. These are featured prominately on the KISS website and if they sell well then EI will make money off of the fact that they are making them for the band. Just another revenue stream, it is what it is.

Hi Calfire, but sorry, you're going to have to eat those comments for so many reasons. ; ) Most of which relate to Gene Simmons' genius marketing skills to his MILLIONS of fans. p.s. Family Jewels is not only watched world-wide by millions of fans belonging to "The Kiss Army", but is also watched by millions of people who aren't actually KISS fanatics. They just love the show. Actually, I've seen it quite a few times over the past few years and also know many people from teens to boomers who like it because it's great and they are a great family actually. Bottom line, it's hilarious with no disfunctionality, which is a change of pace for reality shows.

So, if I'm not clear here, millions saw Lopez Tonight and learned not only about the KISS casket, but many will be wondering WHO made it perhaps. That will lead them to EI.

Second, Season 7 of Gene Simmons' Family Jewels will have millions of viewers and they will also be introduced to the casket, and indirectly to EI.

Note: Do not underestimate the KISS Army fanbase and how fanatic they actually are. (and the casket is tastefully done as well). They've just been doubly exposed on a scale EI can't even grasp.

So, pay attention Calfire, this is the kind of exposure that EI could only dream of and the kind I've been talking about all along, ie. to the masses. Those kids at EI finally did something REALLY smart from a marketing perspective and I for one am pleased. It's much bigger than KISS but thanks to Gene (who is the first to weigh in with a brain for business here) we're on the map now.
