I think you misunderstood. One of your lemmings conceded that there weren't 1000 orders - Alls I asked for was proof of this, which he/she is having an extremely hard time doing (or any example of Dean saying this, or that any proof exists). I understand Dean mentioned he has "verbal" orders, or potential customers lined up once the machine is approved. I am also aware that nothing can be marketed before FDA approval.
I agree that sales is an integral part of this post approval process. I believe, providing everything works as planned, that the actual "selling" will not be as important as creating awareness of the product. Once people understand features and benefits, the machine will sell itself.

Who knows what marketing channels Dean plans to use.
