#312 RE: Seahag #306

SH, the Gist of SGD was to try and lend suport to the SHORTERS...

I think he was trying to offset the positive effects of the PR by insinuating that K-Byte wasn't yet building the "SecureView" but that it was assembled in house at SEVU... Here is my reply to him...

http://www.ragingbull.altavista.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=SEVU&read=7091

ERUE, IF "SecureView" is currently produced in-house...

there COULD BE some very plausible reasons for that...

Known Facts...

1) K-Byte intends to assemble the "SecureView" from a number of Parts using mainly Robots, which implies a rapid rate of production AND ample supply of Parts...

2) A number of parts, such as the Plastic housing, Lens, etc... are proprietary and produced by injection molding elsewhere, probably...

Opinions...

3) The supply of part continues to build up prior to starting the roboticized mass production at K-Bytes...

4) In the meantime, to satisfy the pent-up demand, SEVU is manufacturing in-house from the existing stock of parts that is still insufficient to kick up and justify the automated Production line....

Conclusion: If the above is correct, then McBride statement is true: "Are we manufacturing SecureView? YES! Are we delivering? YES! Are we selling more? YES!"
