Maybe. Depends on how many they have to buy back. I am sure that there are quite a few limit orders set out there that they could just swoop up when nobody is watching.

Question for anybody: Has the company at any point alluded to being willing to sell ST the shares they are short from the company treasury OR is the company going to force their hand and make them buy back in the open market?? Do we have even an approximate count as to how many shares ST screwed up by?? 10MM, 15MM, 20MM??

I have been lurking on the sidelines watching this play out and although the market has 20 days or so to remove the D, I believe that ST only has 13 days to "settle" this. That would make the date Wed 12/22/10 if I did my math right.

Any opinions??

TIA, Steve :-)
