Lest we forget, there are numerous other competing carbon-capture technologies extant and under development besides solid sorbents. In three years or less, Sayari's brainchild could be entirely obsolete. There are also the vagaries of the politics and science involved in carbon as a GHG plus the Texas lawsuit against the EPA going forward. Will CSMG exist in three years? It's becoming increasingly doubtful they'll make it even past Q1 2011. In addition, from last report, flat-broke CSMG owes $30,000 to University of Ottawa for continuation of the CCTI license.
The fact is LTC is the firm's only real hope for revenues. Now, with Conmed squarely in the race with its daunting advantages over CSMG, as lostatsea has pointed out, it begins to look bleaker than ever for CTGI.
