Remember you are reading "Spencer Speak". He is trying to force a positive opinion. Remember the difference between "Truth" which is the absence for a lie and "Honesty" which is full disclosure.
He said "significantly cost reduced" which is a "Truth", which could mean they changed one or more parts for a new cheaper part. He did not disclose why they really made the change or what the cost benefit is, only implied it was because of the "Elder Care Robot Trials". Could have had to make the change because there was a failure and the parts they were using were so old that they are available anymore. All electronic parts will become obsolete at some point in time. With a robot that may be 12 years old they are going to have obsolescence issues.
You and others are looking for info on the "Elder Care Robot Trials" and he is hoping you will miss-interpret this PR and quiet down.
