#19623 RE: LODE MAKING ME RICH #19622

You obviously don't know about Salt Lake City Utah and its local economy. Also, more salons will come as the other salons get established and you know that. They will come along after the current salons have had a chance to establish a good client base. All good things take time. Besides, there are other ways for this company to invest and bring more value in the short term. Like the independent films and such. There are millions to be made in the entertainment industry and it isn't just the big names making the money.

Utah tops Forbes list for business
Experts say ranking will help attract companies, bring jobs to the state

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah has claimed to the top spot in Forbes magazine's annual ranking of "The Best States for Business and Careers."

The Beehive State pushed Virginia out of the top slot — where it had been for four years running.

According to local business insiders, this recognition could mean a great deal as the state works to attract more companies that bring with them more jobs and economic development.

"It means we have been acknowledged as being a place for people to do business," said Lane Beattie, president and chief executive officer of the Salt Lake Chamber. "It shows that we have been good for a long time, and that is very attractive to businesses looking at our state and for businesses that are already here."

Prior to this most recent list, Utah had consistently ranked in the top five for several years, but reaching the top is a major milestone, said Jeff Edwards, president and CEO of the Economic Development Corporation of Utah.

"This kind of a ranking … changes the conversation that we can have with companies," Edwards said. "Companies and consultants watch these rankings very carefully."

He said being rated the best state for business should pay significant dividends in the long run and help the state's economy grow in the coming years.

The magazine's "Best States" ranking measures six categories for business, including costs, current economic climate, growth prospects, labor supply, quality of life and regulatory environment.

I thought you said GRNE has no effect on Nexia? If that's true, then why do you want more salons? Not arguing, just trying to understand your superior reasoning skills.
