Do you have any way of gauging how many searches were going on at the time of the crash? That might be a clue?

Bob about 1:29 I got a pm from Low. I could not respond to that PM. I just kept getting a Page can not be displayed error. Nor could I remove it manually, by clicking remove in the Mailbox. I am certain all of this is Low's fault.

As ergo said, private message submissions were intermitantly failing before the site crashed. At least 10 minutes before. Maybe a clue?

Also, is there any way that search this members posts or this board's posts is going to return pre 1995 messages or is advanced search the only option for retreiving those?

Let's try that again with the right decade.

Bob:

I majored in statistics, so I play with numbers any possible way I can find an excuse to do. I was looking on the site awhile ago at most posted boards and most viewed boards. Two examples.

Early Bird Special
Posts 246
Views 2688
Views/Posts Ratio 11

Wave Systems
Posts 251
Views 62375
Views/Posts Ratio 249

How can this be? I can see how you can have statistical anamolies when the numbers (sample) is small, but these are huge boards. Both have the same number of posts, but one has 26 times as many views as another. I would bet it is a mistake, but I admit to ZERO knowledge about page views on chat sites.

Can you give me anything to chew on that would make me feel more confident in these numbers? Thanks.
