Legalization of Cannabis is the only way to get the US economy booming again (not enough money to start energy revolution in the US). The economy will continue it's downturn over the next two years setting up the legalization vote of 2012. There is no other legit way to jump start the economy with the massive debt around the world. When state budgets get tighter, state officials will look to cannabis. Property and sales tax are the main revenue streams for state budgets. Because housing prices will drop again once interest rates go up to try and contain inflation, these revenues will go down further. Police forces are being cut around the country. This will happen.
