Yes, yes, I'm fully aware of what the "by-definition" float is. I guess I wasn't real clear. I was more just curious ... for instance -
I have "x" amount of shares. Yes, they are obviously part of the float. However, as I'm not flipping, swinging, looking for a quick 20% and out, etc., etc., i.e. not selling anytime soon, in some sort of way, they're not part of the float.
I saw a post somewhere about SHAR and a FLD. I know with some other stocks I've been in, informal groups of investors track rough estimates of how many shares are controlled by folks not selling any time soon. Nothing like a concerted, orchestrated group effort to lock down the entire float.
Anyway, I'm probably just confusing my question. I was just curious how many folks had stated their plans to hold this until much higher PPS and if anyone had a estimate of how many shares that entailed...
