The point I was making about MMs is most of them may simply be selling to buyers at 4 and buying back at three for now. Some may have sold when the range was 6/7 and are buying back now. They'll do that for a while as long as they profit. They are also just as good at buying low from sellers at say 3 and selling to buyers on the way up. For longs, if you're on their side when they're doing that, you're moving in the right direction. About PRs - MMs insiders etc. have already made their move before the PR hits. If you can get an inkling about overall sentiment prior to PR/news releases, you may have a better opportunity. It's not easy.
