Say hello to my leetle friends.

Finding the hottest peppers in the world isn’t an easy task with all the pop-ups and confusing links constantly battling for your attention, but Gerald Fowler’s site, The Chili Pepper Company, has a sauce using the Naga Viper Chili, hottest pepper to date, which took him two years to create. The Naga Viper pepper reaches an unheard of 1,359,000 scoville rating where the current Guinness world record stands at 1,067,286 for a single pepper, but unfortunately he does not show the seeds for sale, most likely due to limited supply.

The Chili Pepper Company site boasts peppers from all over the world but getting them sent to the US may be a bit of a hassle since customs regulations are strict and may compel you to be happy just buying their sauce, unless of course, you are traveling to the United Kingdom any time soon. The 30 mL bottle of Naga Viper sauce runs for £3.50 which is a little less than 5 dollars and a decent price, but the shipping may be expensive since they request that you contact for shipping data outside of the UK.

The site is easy to use and fairly straight forward, using PayPal to exchange credit and helpful explanations of all peppers and products for sale. Their selection of seeds is phenomenal, describing the origins and types of peppers along with heat ratings, which are sometimes confusing since it doesn’t always follow the scoville rating, but simple enough to follow even though it may be vague.

If you haven’t heard of the newest pepper to raise the standard, the original article will fill in the details rather nicely, but it may leave you hankering for a bottle of the sauce, and if you beat me to it fill us in on what you think.
