You know little,
For any company in todays market arena and surfacing out BK, there is always some manipulation of people and funds and results.

No one person or one persons opinion or slighted information can bring a company to its knees.

This soap opera will be around for a while.

Many people will make many dollars. Play the game and win.
Regards,

No one wins in a show down. Guess who said that?

AbitibiBowater may think that they have a good environmental policy, but it is my opinion that it is not taken seriously and abused by some senior managers and their senior staff.

Examples will follow, but at one mill in Ontario, the spill reports that need to be filed with the Ministry of Environment (MOE) when there is a spill, with full details of the spill, when filed if they were filed, were in my opinion incomplete, at times at the request of the mill manager, with agreement of the environmental coordinator and with the agreement of the technical manager. Providing the information would in their words "cause the MOE to investigate more closely and visit the site, which might uncover more."

It is my understanding that one of the managers involved with the reports going to the MOE without the complete known details, was put into the position of Environmental Coordinator at another mill!

I was terminated...but these people still have their jobs. I was not allowed back into my office after the termination for over 3 weeks. It is my opinion that they used the time to destroy documents that I had, since the documents were not where I left them and I could not locate them, my desk was cleared off and the logs nowhere to be found. They went through my hard files, file by file, to purge them of the information. They destroyed or took my daily logs that contained the dates, the information, and the people I passed this information to, at the time of the events.

Details of the events will follow during the week. Like I said, at this point I have nothing more to lose. I am giving my opinion, and believe that I can express my opinion, and that I am not releasing confidential information. If I am incorrect about the details of the spills, or if I am releasing confidential information, please correct me.

I am willing to speak to Paterson or his designate about these matters. He did not reply to my request in June, but perceived the request as a threat.
