Looks like AF has changed his mind about pereira since he wrote the following.

AF didn't change his mind, he was talking about something different. Back then, the question was whether FDA would approve Feraheme based on clinical trials conducted by AMAG. Berens was wrong (he issued tons of negative reports back then, at least I didn't see he issued report about how wrong he was afterward - analysts who are so wrong should in my opinion), Pereira was right because FDA approved the drug. You have to give BP credit for getting the drug approved.

Today AF named BP as one of 4 worst CEO of 2010 candidates based on the commercial failure of Feraheme in 2010. As CEO, BP failed the task. He was the right CEO to get Feraheme approved, but he is not necessarily the right CEO to commercialize the drug successfully. Great physician is not necessarily good business man.
