YoYo, in the same PR futher down it says "GO800, LLC, GO800™, a new patent pending text messaging service"

If it were approved, feel sure that would have been PR'ed in its self as that would be great news.

So they say " GO800's patented platform " and "patent pending " in the same PR.

Considering mistakes made in past PR's and that they have not PR'ed the patent as approved, which of the 2 mentioned in the PR do you think is real? I feel they forgot the word "pending" on the first mention.

You caused it. You were the one asking for news even if it was fake:)

So...what is this exactly? I'm thinking to some of you this is just a subtle little gaffe, no big deal, business as usual. Maybe somebody on the sidelines that doesn't know any better than to get involved with an MMG stock sees this and says...wow, this .0016 Pink actually has a patent on this technology...& gets in.

Agreed, both as to the 'gaffe' aspect as well as the potential for misleading investors, though due diligence should come in to play on the patent.

I don't believe that anything as significant as the awarding of a patent would be 'announced' in a low key 'patented platform' reference rather than a stand alone PR trumpeting the patent award. Notwithstanding a long list of MM 'misstatements' about GOIG, it really is inexcusably careless....at best.

That said, I have no reason to doubt that the announcement from one year ago is accurate. Otherwise I believe that there would not be continued confusion expressed on this board about SMS providers offering a "service similar to Go800". They would likely be offering exactly the SAME service. I strongly suspect that the barrier to entry for SMS providers is not technological but rather legal/intellectual property.
