fink - i respect your position on what you'll do with your position (hehe). i couldn't blame you for taking profits once this thing rebounds back up (although unless we get confirmation of the divy and not just a proposal; we won't see more than 10 or 12 cents), but i am literally long on this play; i won't exit my shares for less than 50 cents a piece

Okay, here is the rub on CBIS. We all know that they are a Medical Marijuana play....pure and simple. To that extent, I look at them like any other bio-tech trying to get a drug to market, which is what they are trying to accomplish. Like any other bio-tech, they need to raise money to conduct trials to get FDA approval pure and simple.

So what is the pay-off? If they get the drup to trial phase and it is approved, big pay-off based on the billion dollar plus market for treating PTSD and other illenesses.

But like the other message, this is a long term play. I think the divy will boost the price somewhat for a short term, will I stay for the payout of shares, most likely. Why, because eventually, CBIS will announce advanced clinical trials for their products which will spike the price even higher. If that occurrs, I will sell my position and only keep my free shares....so if something gets approved, I will make a lot of money.....if it does not....then I still do not lose anything...who can argue with those odds!

That is exactly what I said a month ago, that FINRA is not that hard...i like your post. I think what we can expect is that this company is a long-term play, also with new class of shares we can expect a solid increase in PPS (but, I don't think it will only increase to just 12 0r 13 cents, now that is not a good estimate considering possible conversion and speculation), but, I think only time will tell how they use the new funding...either way, I think the company is solid for long-term or short-term...
