Bone, NICs are the very tip of the iceberg, and one of Intel's early successes in the communications market. Over the past several years, they extended their portfolio immensely, and more recently, they trimmed it down to a number of key areas where they offer superb solutions. I expect it to be an extremely profitable business once spending in this market catches up with the rate of accelerated network usage. Right now, people are using the Internet more than the Internet is expanding. I don't expect that to be a long lasting trend.
