Dart board approach.

Try anything you possibly can, in the hopes something sticks. IMO, Eric/WNBD aren't focusing their efforts or resources properly or effectively. Appears like a haphazard approach under the guise of "We're expanding worldwide."

Would be nice to see WNBD have a solid win, for once. A win that actually has "staying power".

This whole Africa non-sense (on both extremes) is counter-productive. Personally, Africa isn't the answer and won't be the initiative to propel WNBD.

Name me one product a company successfully launched in Africa that became a worldwide product with brand recognition. Just one.

African initiative: WASTED EFFORT ERIC!

Stick with North America (US and Canada). Establish a beach head first, than expand. Right now, the dart board ain't working!

Completely agree Activ. Yep...they may sell a few bottles in Africa or some other country and they may or may not make money on it after paying for all of the shipping costs, storage of the product, any customs issues and whatever they reimburse the "ambassador" for.

My biggest contention with these types of "initiatives" is that it takes their time and attention off of the areas where the most money can be made...let's say THE UNITED STATES!! You know...just across the border from Canada?!

When a filing looks like theirs did... every single penny to be spent should be spent with a great deal of discretion and put where it can do the most good... Africa is not the place IMO. N or S Korea...they are gonna just blow each other up..their won't be anyone left to use the wC. China...don't get me started on that one.

Thank you for allowing EVERYONE to have an opinion and letting them speak their peace.

Enjoy your Sunday!

So you are upset that 'growth' is beginning to happen in South Africa in and around cities with vast number of large buildings and people that rival many particular cities around the world?

I'm not comparing WNBD to WalMart in size or scope; only from the simple means to that which I post. That South Africa is seen as a 'business viable' place to conduct business. Many Fortune 500 companies agree and are expanding or growing there.

In regards to 'data', yes most recent/current data should be given more weight then that of 3 to 5 years ago relative to similar or related topic.

One can focus on the can't or they can focus and embrace the can. Data supports a lot of people outside the cities in South Africa can't afford Winning Colours (that's not companies focus or its shareholders imo), but data clearly supports a lot of folks and businesses inside and around can (that's what we want).

South Africa is an extension of the Australia endeavor it seems, that started nearly two years ago. This is how WNBD grows, where WC leads to folks passionate or dedicated to it.

Blog Oct 24th excerpt: For several months now, a business person in the capital city of Accra, Ghana (West Africa) - with interests in a janitorial and dry cleaning operation there, has been very interested in Winning Colours. He first heard of it when visiting a friend in South Africa. They were talking about it because a friend of the South African brought a bottle of Winning Colours back from Australia.
