In truth, it is virtually impossible to tell whether or not today's 500k sell at the close was the work of the MM's or just some seller dumping stupidly at .0003.
That is how the MM's have their power...they can either manipulate or not...we are left trying to figure it all out.
Either way, it is a frustrating apsect of the game that we must accept.
