64 3200 socket 754 - older single channel DDR to be phased out sooner.
64 3200 939 - newer dual channel DDR longer-lived.

socket 940 - primarily server(Opteron) except for supporting older Athlon 64FX chips, which initially were socket 940 products.

Hi robin, the A64 3200+ for S754 is either a 2Ghz part with 1MB L2 cache (old) or a 2.2 Ghz part with 512KB L2 cache.

For S939, it´s a 2Ghz part with 512Kb L2.

S940 is for servers/workstations (Opteron).
