#68366 RE: milplease #68365

you are kidding, right?

"I chose to take what they say at face value and not fixate on what preconceptions my mind might have."

That is a very sound thing to do with these guys. Did you do the same thing with "is shipping", "full production", "$2.4M in revenue", "expects to prevail", "stacks of PRs", "just waiting for the lawyers", "revenue neutral"?? Did you take those at face value? And if you did, how much are you down on this investment? All of it?

Is applying a past history of lying to current statements being made a "preconception" in your mind? Or is it prudent?

milplease: I'd like to hear the answer to the question I posed about the embedded player.

What do you think e.Digital's role could realistically be in an seat installed digeplayer?

- Design and engineering?

- Ordering system components?

- Installing them in seats?

- Maintaining and repairing them?

- Other? If so, what?

Additionally they used one of their typical weasel phrases that has often indicated something that they hope will happen but never never does.

"We look forward to continuing our support of APS/Wencor's digEplayer market opportunities by providing ongoing product and technology enhancements, and manufacturing services through our Asian partners." This would be in regard to the portable players only as there is no "manufactuing" of the embedded version.

They could have said something like "we are pleased to be APS/Wencor's manufacturing partner." Instead they are simply "looking forward to" continuing the relationship.

They also stated that the ongoing support was for Wencor's digeplayer "market opportunities," not ongoing support for Wencor's digeplayer. I'm not sure what that means, but it's odd IMO.

Sounds like they're not sure if they will be continuing in the role they've been in for the portable player.
