why the term "paradigm shift" becomes an important defense of why one owns a company.

I am not trying to bust your chops - but you keep reading into my posts more than is there. In this case that I own DNDN stock.

I find it alternately amusing and annoying to watch both the rah, rah crowd and the it'll-never-work crowd both read into my posts the side of their despised enemy.

if Provenge production facilities and Provenge sales continue to fall behind projections and cash reserves continue to rapidly dwindle, be more skeptical of the "paradigm shift" excuse.

I started this thread pointing out that there are aspects of Provenge which I believe have aspects of paradigm shift. And I did not comment on Dew's (or your) annoyance with what you perceive as Gold's over-inflated use of the phrase because I haven't listened to the conf calls in more than a year so I have no context from which to comment. (That said, I wouldn't be surprised if I agreed with you and Dew on that - because I've never liked Gold's style much. But I don't have first hand knowledge in this case.)

I take it from your responses that you don't have a science background

I am an oompa loompa of science.

I will say I do have a science background and I was too blinded by my love of technological advances that I failed to see what a looming disaster GTCB was

Never fear. Buzz words mean nothing to me.
