I disagree about less of the float being locked up. Perhaps some institutions sold but I'm sure even more are/have been accumulating.

These shake outs are just what this stock needs, and I would expect nothing less from the smart money trying to grab as many shares as they can.

Looks lke we bumped heads about the float being reduced to more than what we thought.
You use "locked up" but that hasn't happened yet.
I believe it has been severely reduced from 1-2 weeks ago it what I'm saying.

Headley, I think what you miss is that RINO just stated they actively committed fraud! Do you really think that all institutions will stay invested if such sector news hits? Not even to mention the china macro news with the gazillioned reserve rate hike today. I think it's great that CCME is still at 17 after the RINO news especially since there are so many parties out there who don't believe the margins of CCME.

After running from $7's to $16's, the stock churned for 10 days before making a new high - just seems like it takes some time for a base to form that will support the next leg up. Could trade in the $16-18 range until mid-December, agree it would have been nice to see a higher range but there seems to be good support above $16 or so. Mid-December could coincide nicely with news of 2011 planning - didn't Jacki imply a PR was coming around then?

I think you are absolutely correct, moreover IMO there is no 'short squeeze' shorts are simply working the stock to take advantage of the weak longs that have always held this stock - short high cover lower, repeat.
Dissapointing that there is not more institutional interest by now.
Unfortunately there are no short term catalysts until they blow their own ridiculously understated earnings estimate away again (there will be no actual buy back and no dividend IMO and no realistic 2011 forward guidance either for that matter)
So as weak longs become impatient, doubtful and shaken out, it's more likely to settle at a lower level than now but at least much higher than a couple of months ago.
Unfortunately too much doubt and uncertainty in the wider economy and markets for China small caps to outperform doesn't help, even this one, which is best of them all and an outstanding business compared to any other, anywhere IMO.
