J&G and Centerfire and a number of places sells a composite one
that's made by the one company that has them out and about

have a moto tool handy as they need to be worked a little
I've got one in my work room along with the scope mount kit
for a winter project

Gary's already done at least one
look back through the posts, seems like he posted pics of it
along with the rest of the details

J&G gun sales has a website you can find it on
Midway probably carries it as well as Brownell's

all the wood stocks I've seen for sale are way too short

I've got a few guns with short stocks
all now winter projects....
as an example....my length of pull on my Windrunner is set over 18"
and fits me perfect...
so a 13" length of pull on any gun really sucks for me

Here's what I bought, I just haven't got around to finishing the project: http://www.boydsgunstocks.com/Ria-Mosin-Nagant-s/153.htm

I bought this one:

(SEMI-INLET)

Semi-Inlet parts refer to parts that have been completely shaped and 95% machine inlet. Therefore, your “semi inlet” product may require a significant amount of modification to achieve acceptable fit and clearance for your firearm. We have left proud wood over metal so you can do the final fitting to get that perfect wood-to-metal fit. Stocks are rough sanded to an 80 or 100 grit scratch pattern, depending on wood material (i.e. laminate/hardwood) and minor machining marks may be present. No swivel stud mounting holes are provided. Unless otherwise specified, are shipped with a Boyds’ butt plate. Please consult a competent and qualified gunsmith if you need assistance. *A competent and qualified gunsmith is defined as a person who, at a minimum, works for your firearm manufacturers warranty or service center OR a person who has had 10 years or more of gunstock installation experience and has graduated from a gunsmith college with at least a two-year Associate Arts & Science (A.A.S.) degree in gunsmithing.

Our Price: $79.00

I have used this one too:

Manufacturer: Advanced Technology MGR341
Item: MGR-341

Glass filled nylon stock is indestructible and designed for easy "Drop-In" installation with no gunsmithing. Features a raised cheek rest, checkered forearm, pistol grip, rubber butt pad, and sling swivel studs. Lifetime warranty. Advanced Technology

http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/MGR341-1.html

However, it is not as much a 'Drop In' as they suggest, and the scope mount if you go for the full package sits so low feeding the ammo is a real pain. Another thing, the replacement bolt handle that comes with the kit is something else I didn't like; I ended sending my to specialist and having it re-done. However, that guy was exceptionally good. The post of him and his work is here on this thread, I believe it was Max Sheppard, he's five bolts for me now.
