There is no facility and there WILL BE NO facility of Vega in Tifton, Georgia. This is despite what Chamber of Commerce is saying.

"The world's first bio-coal plant will take place in Terrace, BC, Canada" (Oct 13, 2010):

http://www.journalofcommerce.com/article/id40973

The plant will use microwaves and industrial waste heat as a source of energy to dry the feedstock, which is waste wood. The microwave technology is based on a patented invention of a UK company, Rotawave Ltd. The total investment will be around $30 million.

This facility should be considered as economically feasible, according to Global Bio-Coal Energy, the company building the plant. Compare this company to Vega, with Molen the only employee, with no assets, with no patents or technological competence in the energy sector, and make your conclusions.

To build a bio-coal plant the innovative technology has to be invented in the first place. Then, around $30 million should be raised from the market. Not to mention the environmental permits, the energy for drying the feedstock (necessary industrial waste heat), the land, the logistics to transport the feedstock to the plant and the product to customers, the equipment to handle the feedstock before the gasifying process etc.

Do you still believe there will be a bio-coal plant of Vega?

Uptick. the "angry boys" have a different understanding of the press release. For them, the PR were stating that "it will be done" and is a lye because the Company never had the intention to do it. For most of us, it is a forward looking statement that could happen or not.
For them, the important is to show with evidence that there was no intention to do it. And tThe Chamber of Commerce will not help as they can just assert that there is no facility.
