the municipaliy wanted to extend phil int airport, many locals were very up set with the expansion(who want,s to live under a fly zone)what stopped the project for 20+ years was the box turtle once the local population found out a federal study was going to evaluate the enviromental inpact(leak) of said "box turttle" you could not find a turtle in any pet shop for miles, where did all those turtle,s go?
