but regardless of what this money was for, producing only 500 Odyssey 1000's in time for Christmas would appear to be a pointless exercise. It doesn't fit in with the spirit of the recent letter which mentioned the iPod and that they expected the Odyssey 800/1000 to produce 'substantial' revenue. Obviously there's no comparison between 500 units and the 500,000 that Apple is projecting to sell this quarter. That's why I'd think our unit numbers must be higher and that the funds necessary to produce it are not going to come from shelf shares.
