#7081 RE: Beardeus #7079

It took a long time for me to sell both because I didn't want to take a loss in 2008 because I had already lost about 2800 and my tax guy said to hold and sell some over a period of years. I bought about 10K each around .03 and sold some of both with a little pop of a few cents. Added 100,000 at .04 and sold some of the WAMUQ's just under .10 and all of my LEHMQ's over .20
Then saw WAMUQ go to .40 and added 400,000 under .15 watched it run to .70 and held every share even though I bought 150,000 just for flipping. (Later I added another 150K and sold between .17-.21)
I try to look at gains and losses over a multiple year outlook. If you have too big of a loss then wait to sell, but avg down when it's a few cent 'just in case' This year I've got so many gains that I was able to put more 'at risk' Avg'd down in my WAMPQ's last week and avg. down in my TRXBQ's (TRXAQ board) had over 100,000 of those avg. .22 Sold over a three day run up over .50 and it's still holding .70
So if you're in something when it BK's, it doesn't mean you lost everything. You don't gain or lose until you sell. Had TTNP go from .05 to 1.70 overnight but it didn't hold and dropped to .53 in three days. I held for another 9 months and sold at an avg of 2.25 bought back in just over a buck and it's heading up again. So you also don't profit until you sell.
I need to learn to not fall in love with certain stocks and always try to ride "free shares" whenever possible. Good luck :-)
