You are right. I entered the code for a book I just purchased on my desk, and it brought up a picture of the book. I assume this is the Amazon database that they are linked with.

I also entered the code off of a Diet Coke can on my desk, and it brought up the same prompt that comes up with the Diet Coke demo.
