No IPO yet? Man its pricey. I wonder if two homes side by side could use one. That would cut the cost in half only $400K and with an average power bill running $300, Might not be the best use of funds, LOL!

One small cube would produce enough power for an average sized home, essentially allowing somene to live off the grid. The technology is still new and rather expensive, but there are big hopes for the future of this innovation.


The so-called "energy servers" have been used like companies such as Google. Right now, a server is about the size of a parking spot and costs around $700,000 to $800,000. Although expensive, the hopes are that in the future the technology will become more and more affordable, allowing families to have a smaller version of the energy server power their home.


People are wanting to invest in Bloom Energy. Right now, it's a private company and no IPO is in the works. That could change in the future - but for right now, there's no way to invest in Bloom Energy.
