Well yea, the EC are investors that want to protect their unsecured common shares that they bought at WAY higher prices than the current PPS. They're trying to save their investment. Just because there is an EC doesn't mean it's going to help anyone. It's more like, if there were NO shareholders, then there would be no "need" for the committee to try and convince the Judge to preserve commons.
