CAGC - Not sure if Tang's contract was renewed or not. Perhaps there will be an update with the earning's release. I will likely try to contact them to get clarification.

I am somewhat comforted by the fact that Carlyle Asia Growth has a presence in China and likely were aware of Tang's history, yet they chose to invest.
