if you can prove that you bought shares shortly after that FB message from him, then it is clear that he may have allegedly disseminated false information to fraudulently induce you into a pump and dump. Claiming to go to Nigeria and have information about a stock when he has not, is potentially a definite no-no. If he flew to Nigeria then that is easily provable with airline records.

If you note in the link, the SEC even went after those who do not reside in the U.S. or are not U.S. citizens.

Here's a wikipedia article on all the countries which have either extradition treaties or a diplomatic relation. I'm not sure whether the treaties cover someone engaged in fraudulently inducing someone in a pump and dump event from fleeing, however.

The only countries listed that do not have extradition treaties or diplomatic relations are Bhutan, Cuba, Iran, Korea (North).

I doubt he will want to live in Cuba, Iran or North Korea, so Bhutan must be the place. Bhutan is next to Tibet and appears to be quite beautiful, so maybe that was the goal, to retire in Bhutan? LOL.
