LOL! If I had a dime for every time.... Everything has potential. Every company has potential. It's a bs statement and really holds no weight. There are a bazillion factors, some controllable, some not that can change the "potential"
The real potential in any company is the management and given I have watched this management make the same mistakes so many times now...the "potential" has greatly diminished in my eyes.
