If your holding fake shares, you will get back the exact amount you paid for them, not what they are trading at right now, thats the money that will be taken out of the person who naked shorted the stock in the first place has to pay back, otherwise that person would still have most of your money for selling fake shares, which wouldn't be much of a punishment.

if you were sold fake shares you will be reimbursed, i'm sure. if nothing else you'd have a great lawsuit.
