In the China PR, they said it is effective against herpes. They did not state it is "FDA Approved". If their internal tests two years ago show it to be effective, they can say so in a PR.

To sell it as medicine in the USA requires a much stricter FDA process, which they are working as revealed in today's PR, which also indicates it is "effective" (reduces size in 3 days).

I see no contradiction between "effective" in the old China PR, and "reduces size" in today's PR.

I'm not thrilled by today's PR, but if a mild dose (0.1 %) does something in only 3 days, I'll take it, I have "cold sores" (labial herpes) and would love something to help with them.

Looks like another case they'll lose...only this one will really cost.
