Methinks you can be sure that anyone inside the company remains optimistic, even if timeframes are not most favourable. Seems it's taken quite awhile just to re-organize the mess DR left the company in. Everyone is working towards the same end, and sooner or later, the ball will begin rolling again. In regards to the CC, I think it bodes well that Piazza is still with LTC, and I'm sure Dr. Kutz will have some interesting things to say as well.
