My old man is 78 and smokes dope and loves it. Hes a surgeon and still pratices. He'd vote HELL Yes! Ya gotta remember most of these geezers lived their glory years during the 60s. Most tried pot at one time and know their brains didn't melt. Its the young couples with young kids that will make up the biggest resistance.
You know, thinking they are protecting their cheriubs with a perfevt drug free Wold. And Mom pops a diet pill while big Sis is on ADD meds. Dad, well he is just a drunk and wants to get away with anything. Look what Mothers aginst Drunk Driving did....same crowd, a newer generation, but same mentality.
