My guess is that they were picking up on the disoriented and somewhat frantic pack energy there. YOUR pack is very well balanced..doesn't take much to upset that.
Terri worked at a kennel/doggy day care for a few months and I took Buddy up there once when I went to pick her up...we tried to walk through the kennel part to get to the outside play area and he was TERRIFIED! He's a bit of a sissy to begin with (ok...he's a HUGE sissy LOL) but this waaaay different. I picked him up and carried him through to the play area and he didn't want anything to do with any of it. I don't know if it was all the barking or what but he didn't stop shaking for hours...even when we home and curled up on the couch.
BTW...after her little stint there we would NEVER take our dogs there or any other kennel for an overnight stay. All that stuff they're supposed to do for them...they don't.
