Well lets just say that the Market Makers sold a lot of shares in the last few weeks that they didn't have, they need to cover the shares they sold that were not in their inventory , classic bring it down on low volume shake the tree or take out stop losses , and bring it back up again , sell more shares they don't have and repeat , there come a point where investor just won't sell and they will start a base from there.
