hammer - it brings huge cred to the cloud-based services altogether AND those that CLDR are offering (their core is mail mgmt solutions). These huge wins like entire US States going into the cloud lifts the entire space - esp in terms of security which has been an issue in the past. CLDR also uses MSFT products in their solutions. Huge new cred and selling points with which to lock up new deals.
Imagine, your a decision-maker and a CLDR presented their solution to you but you weren't sure whether the time was right, it was safe, etc. Now in one week, you read that two major US States are going ahead and pulling the trigger (both also using Microsoft products as well). Now you feel good about going in and implementing. See? Big industry wins lead to a domino effect of buyers at all levels of the game. Just as I said last week we would now see many copycats, today we already see one. We ain't seen nothin yet bro where the cloud space is concerned - and that includes players of all sizes. gl
