QSGIQ MM CANT arrived today & AH PACER FILING
CANT has been active in both CEMJQ and TRXAQ since their inception in BK and are not 'new' to making a market in Q stocks.
Although they do institutional investing, they also handle high net worth and moderate retail investors.
The one thing I'm fairly certain they do not do is represent a 'common man' type brokerage account ( ala, Zecco, E-trade, etc., you don't sign up online with Cantor Fitzgerald, lol)
Cantor desk traders will also load shares into their own proprietary account if an individual trader see's value to making a market for his/her own profit.
Wait until the Monthly Share Volume report comes out and then you'll know how much they have loaded and/or unloaded. The total will let you know if it's institutional, high net worth, or moderate retail just by the volume they handle since they are making a late appearance.
They took a very large position for a high net worth private client in TRXAQ back in May and drove the PPS from .75 to over 1.40 in a week. A month later the same client wanted out and CANT drove the PPS straight down into the .50's.
